Ooooh boy am I excited! BookCon is just about here and I’m so ready to go!
I’ve been trying to get my butt out to BookCon back when it was still BEA’s Reader’s Day, but things kept coming up. But I’ve cleared my schedule and JM Tuckerman and I are heading out to NYC Saturday morning for some book loving fun!
I’m also trying to figure out what books to bring with me to get signed. I know I won’t get to see John Green, since that’s going to be a huge line to get in and I’m not about that life, but I’d love to see Marie Lu and I’m not 100% positive if she’s signing anything, but I’d love for her to sign my copy of Legend. I also promised my sister I’d get one of her Sarah Dessen books signed for her. If anything, I’ll bring a sharpie along and have folks sign my Kindle case. Maybe I should print up some book plates? People seem to be doing that often.
Some quick announcements:
- Keep a lookout for some videos JM Tuckerman and I will be posting, both on our individual sites and of course over at Round Robin Writes. We’ll be doing some vlogging from BookCon and we’ll be doing Book Reaction videos (alternatively 5-10-To The End Reaction videos) of books we read.
