I know, I know, I keep saying I’m going to come back and be better at blogging, but something always comes up where I end up doing that instead of this. Round Robin, school work, more shifts at my Day Job, my ridiculous boyfriend buying me a Switch and let’s be real, Legend of Zelda!
Lots of different things keep coming up, but I do want to come back and keep up with this site. So I’ll be posting several of my favorite books that I’ve reviewed in the past year and try to keep things running along here.
I’ve also recently started a journal. I figured I might as make use of my ever growing, constantly massive hoard of empty notebooks and use one of them as a daily journal. It’s nice to write by hand, especially since I’ve splurged on some nice new fountain pens. It’s definitely something different. I don’t have to worry about feature images or cross posting to different social platforms or even (gasp!) checking for spelling.
Keeping a private journal is both freeing and a bit of a pain—if only because it’s reminding me of my carpel tunnel.
As always, check out Round Robin Writes for all the greatest and latest bookish posts and YA book reviews. I even got the chance to sit and have a Q&A session with Emily Skrutskie, author of The Abyss Surrounds Us and its sequel, The Edge of the Abyss, which released on April 17th this year. The Abyss Surrounds Us made it into my Top 5 books I read in 2016.
